Bathymetry Perspective Views

Monday August 10, 1998

This is a view looking west toward Meeks Bay. Colored image is land, gray scale is lake floor, black is unmapped. Vertical exaggeration is x 4. The view is of the large sediment apron built up from the south end of the lake. Large bedforms in the foreground stand ~4 m above the floor. Bedforms cover almost the entire lake floor in this view. The bedforms suggest strong bottom flows of the sediment and possibly dense downwelled water.
